Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanex Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Snoop DoGG. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bak's choice of entrance music: One Night In Bangkok. Sanex Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sanex Lewis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ong Bak! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis misses with a head kick.
Bak defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lewis. No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt. Lewis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ong Bak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bak is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bak lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bak. A combination from Bak does no damage. Lewis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bak tries to avoid it but Lewis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bak to the ground. Bak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sanex Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lewis dodges the punch combination from Bak.
Bak lands with a nice body punch. Lewis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bak pinned against the cage. Bak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bak scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lewis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bak is just content to waste time from the top position. Lewis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bak trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bak might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lewis kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bak controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ong Bak wasn't active enough on the ground. A punch combination from Bak misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bak clinches up with Lewis and pushes him back against the cage. Bak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lewis has him pressed against the cage. Bak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lewis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bak as he jumps to the side. Bak gets the takedown into side control. Bak tries to stand but Lewis is controlling his head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis is trying to get back to half guard. Bak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bak stands up and beckons Lewis to his feet. Bak closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lewis did well to prevent Bak getting side control. Lewis trying to control here.
Bak is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Lewis to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Bak wanted to stand there but Lewis had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis trying to keep a closed guard but Bak is proving a slippery customer.
Bak is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lewis has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bak is looking to defend but Lewis has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bak! Lewis pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bak taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sanex Lewis! A very excited looking Sanex Lewis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
