Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Velandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Kotkiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotkiewicz has chosen Papa Roach - Last Resort as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cedric Velandez looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotkiewicz has Velandez up against the cage in a clinch.
Velandez is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kotkiewicz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Velandez can't fight it off and eventually Kotkiewicz manages to take the fight to the floor. Velandez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kotkiewicz gets to his feet. Velandez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kotkiewicz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kotkiewicz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

It looks like Kotkiewicz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Velandez wants to hold on but Kotkiewicz pushes him away.
Velandez is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Kotkiewicz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Velandez is in a horrible position here. Kotkiewicz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
