Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Kau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talon Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kau comes into the arena with Kamikaze Kush- Sands blaring out of the sound system. Damien Kau had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Axe.
Kau dips to his left and cracks Axe with an uppercut!
Axe lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Axe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kau.
Axe lands with a nice body punch.
Kau just misses with a punch to the body.

letting Axe counter with a right hand.
Axe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Talon Axe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kau closes the distance and clinches up with Axe, looking for a takedown. Kau pushes Axe against the cage but Axe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kau tries to bum rush Axe with a series of wild strikes but Axe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kau is keen to just control but Axe is a slippery customer.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kau looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kau looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kau moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Kau shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Axe's guard.
Axe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Axe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kau walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kau throws a leg kick but Axe sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Axe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kau to score with a decent uppercut.

Kau feints a jab promting Axe to slip. Kau then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Axe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That kick from Axe tenderised Kau's leg. Kau is trying to keep his angry face on.

Axe lands with a straight right. Kau didn't see that one coming.
Axe lands a lovely overhand right.
Axe moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Axe clobbers Kau with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kau changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Axe tries to avoid it but Kau manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Axe to the ground. Axe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Axe punishes Kau's body with a nice straight punch.
Axe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kaus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A punch lands to the side of Kau 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kau gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kau looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Damien Kau showed his dominance in that final round.
