Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Semmy Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rizzo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to open road song. Ares is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: r this town i 101. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizzo connects with a crisp jab.
Ares tries to land a front kick but Rizzo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ares misses with the combination.
Rizzo thows a body shot but no joy.
Ares closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rizzo's guard.

Rizzo has control of Ares's left arm, preventing Ares from doing any damage.
Ares postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ares stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rizzo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ares looks to land a strike but Rizzo avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rizzo is looking to stand up but Ares isn't so interested in that idea.

Solomon Ares decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
