Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avila moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
An inside leg kick from Avila misses.
Hall misses with a body kick.
Avila avoids a punch combination nicely.
Avila tries to move into range but Hall moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hall checks a low kick from Avila.
Avila fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hall connects with a body shot that sends Avila's belly button to the back.

Hall closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Avila quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hall moves into the clinch successfully.
Avila tries to break the clinch but Hall is controlling the position.
Avila is pressed up against the cage. Hall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Avila down to the mat. Avila avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Avila.
Hall avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Avila throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hall feints a jab promting Avila to slip. Hall then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Avila slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hall doesn't manage to clinch there - Avila circles away.
Hall scores with a hook to the body. Avila takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Avila throws a leg kick but Hall moved away.

Avila defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hall.
Avila throws a push kick but Hall slaps the foot to one side.
Avila on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

The fighters circling - Hall throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tommy Avila seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close second round but I would say that Don Hall will probably get the nod.
