The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassino gets caught flat footed, as Soya shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Soya controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Soya tries to free his leg and advance position but Cassino is retaining full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Don Soya wasn't active enough on the ground.
Soya shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Soya works his foot free and advances to mount.
Soya cracks Cassino with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Soya fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Soya throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Cassino has his hands clasped together but Soya breaks the hold and Cassino is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Soya!
