The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a leg kick which misses Bodybag's front leg but catches the back leg as Bodybag tries to avoid it.
Martinez scores with a head kick. Bodybag tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Martinez tries to keep at a distance but Bodybag has taken the fight into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Martinez.
Bodybag doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Martinez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bodybag tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Martinez is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Martinez blocks a body shot from Bodybag.
Bodybag working aggressively here.
Bodybag swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Martinez pulls guard.
Bodybag postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Martinez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bodybag, into his guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martinez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bodybag is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bodybag wants to get back to his feet.
Martinez is working Bodybag over with some ground and pound from side control.
Martinez working the head and body with strikes.
Bodybag is looking to regain half guard here but Martinez keeps moving and retains side control.
Martinez is chipping away with strikes.
Martinez lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Martinez lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martinez grinds an elbow into Bodybag's temple.
Bodybag is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martinez scores with a couple of short elbows.
Bodybag is still in real trouble! Can Martinez finish him?
Martinez lands a strong strike to the head of Bodybag. That's dazed him! Martinez looking to finish here. Bodybag is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Martinez lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesus Martinez!
A relieved looking Jesus Martinez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
