PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Skrzypczak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Skrzypczak might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kasabian - Goodbye Kiss. Harrison has chosen five finger death punch- back for more as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Krzysztof Skrzypczak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skrzypczak closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Harrison quickly recovers to half guard.
Harrison looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Skrzypczak trying to control the action but Harrison is working from the bottom.
Skrzypczak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Skrzypczak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harrison does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Skrzypczak takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Harrison has hold of Skrzypczak's hands but Skrzypczak slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Skrzypczak content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Skrzypczak thows a huge punch but Harrison dodges it nicely.
Skrzypczak wants to take a breather but Harrison is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skrzypczak is pressing down on Harrison's thigh, looking to free his foot. Harrison is holding on for now.

Skrzypczak lands with a punch from half guard.
Skrzypczak tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harrison knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Skrzypczak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harrison with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Skrzypczak lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Harrison on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Skrzypczak frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

A nice elbow there by Skrzypczak.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Skrzypczak lands a big shot there that rocks Harrison but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Skrzypczak misses with a takedown attempt - Harrison sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Skrzypczak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Harrison is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skrzypczak.

Skrzypczak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harrison defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Skrzypczak.
Skrzypczak shoots in looking for a takedown but Harrison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Skrzypczak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Skrzypczak feints and as Harrison raises his hands in defense, Skrzypczak changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Skrzypczak is on top in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Krzysztof Skrzypczak wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Skrzypczak shoots in looking for a takedown. Harrison tries to sprawl out of it but Skrzypczak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harrison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Harrison lands a glancing blow to the side of Skrzypczak's head.
Skrzypczak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harrison sprawls well. Harrison wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Skrzypczak gets slowly back to his feet.
Skrzypczak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harrison is fending him off so far but Skrzypczak persists. Nope, Harrison circles away and we're back to standing.

Harrison lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Skrzypczak displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harrison throws out the jab.
Harrison keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Skrzypczak manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Harrison on his heels. He'll look to pass Harrison's guard now, I'm sure.

Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet.
