Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alik Tseiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tseiko is looking to clinch but Ribbler is avoiding it.
Nice sprawl there from Tseiko as Ribbler shoots in.
Tseiko gets a double leg takedown into Ribbler's guard.
Tseiko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tseiko connects with a couple of short punches.
Ribbler controls Tseiko momentarily but Tseiko frees himself.
Ribbler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tseiko defends it easily.

It looks like Tseiko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tseiko wants to control from the top but Ribbler keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alik Tseiko wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ribbler misses with the combination.

Tseiko tries to break free but Ribbler pushes him back against the cage.

Ribbler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tseiko walks away with a smile on his face. Ribbler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ribbler fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tseiko checks it well.
Tseiko throws a series of punches but Ribbler avoids them all with ease.
Tseiko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tseiko has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Ribbler will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Ribbler tries to clinch there but Tseiko circles away.
Tseiko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ribbler is not content to let Tseiko control the position.

Tseiko takes a little break here. Ribbler wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ribbler is looking for a sweep.
Tseiko content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alik Tseiko.
Tseiko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ribbler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tseiko stands up and beckons Ribbler to his feet.

and Ribbler makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tseiko tries to clinch but Ribbler moves out of range.
Ribbler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tseiko swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ribbler misses with a wild body shot.
Ribbler swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Tseiko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tseiko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ribbler manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Tseiko throws an elbow that misses. Ribbler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tseiko's guard. Nice move by Ribbler!

Tseiko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ribbler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tseiko can't do much from the bottom here.
Tseiko gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Tseiko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ribbler is working away from the top position though.
Tseiko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tseiko.

Tseiko wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Alik Tseiko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Tseiko tries to bum rush Ribbler with a series of wild strikes but Ribbler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ribbler moves in looking to clinch but Tseiko pushes him off.
Tseiko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ribbler is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ribbler misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tseiko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tseiko tries to keep at a distance but Ribbler has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tseiko jumps into guard, dragging Ribbler to the mat.

Alik Tseiko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Well, if Tseiko is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tseiko looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tseiko lands with a punch from half guard.
Ribbler is pressing down on Tseiko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tseiko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ribbler is proving hard to escape from.

Tseiko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ribbler to his feet.
Tseiko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tseiko showed some decent athleticism there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tseiko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ribbler!
Tseiko takes Ribbler's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tseiko is riding his opponent, not letting Ribbler buck him off.
Ribbler looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Tseiko lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Ribbler hold on?!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tseiko is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

I've got Tseiko winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
