The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Domian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Camal De Sousa dives in and grabs Domian's left leg, looking for a takedown. Domian pushes down on Camal De Sousa's head and hops out.

Camal De Sousa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Domian tries to avoid it but Camal De Sousa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Domian to the ground. Domian escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

After the fight, Denis Domian was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
