Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Michaels! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michaels looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range. Michaels throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot. Brown has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brown there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Leroy Brown has been cut. Michaels keeps the fight on the outside. Michaels misses with a body shot.
Brown throws a series of punches but Michaels avoids them all with ease. Brown moves in looking to clinch but Michaels pushes him off. Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Michaels manages to avoid it. Brown throws a nice looking combination but Michaels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Brown staying out of range there. Michaels dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Michaels swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Michaels bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brown's head. Michaels scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Michaels throws a low kick but it's checked well by Brown. Michaels moves out of range as Brown strikes. Brown clinches up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown misses with a body punch.

It looks like Jerry Michaels has been cut. Brown swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Michaels is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Michaels looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Michaels blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Michaels wants to break the clinch but can't.
Brown tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Michaels prevents a body shot from Brown. Brown tries a body shot but Michaels blocks it.
Michaels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brown fails in his attempt to clinch. Michaels throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot. Michaels dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brown. That did some damage! Michaels misses with a straight left. Jerry Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown misses with a straight left. Michaels misses with a leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Michaels misses. Michaels throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Michaels waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. Michaels cracks Brown with a right hand to the side of the head. Michaels throws out a leg kick but Brown moves out of range and Michaels only half commits. Michaels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Michaels. Brown fails in his attempt to clinch. A slapping leg kick lands for Michaels.
Brown takes one on the button. Michaels throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it. Brown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Brown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Michaels sees it coming and avoids it easily. Michaels connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Brown avoids the body shot from Michaels.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Michaels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Michaels misses with a straight right. Michaels looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range. A jab from Michaels does it's job there. Brown takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brown is breathing heavily. Brown moves in looking to clinch but Michaels pushes him off. Brown takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Michaels loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch. Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Michaels manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brown tries to clinch up but Michaels circles away and keeps his distance. Nice shot lands for Michaels. Brown fails with an attempt to clinch.
Michaels connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Brown momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Michaels throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown tries to move into range but Michaels moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Michaels throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Michaels is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brown had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Michaels ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Michaels misses the shot to the body. Michaels throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it. Brown on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Michaels is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Michaels looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely. Michaels connects with the punch. Michaels connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Michaels connects with a nice looking jab.
Brown is rocked! Michaels lands with a right hand. Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Michaels misses with a straight right. Brown moves out of range as Michaels strikes. Brown seems to have got his legs back now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Michaels connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Michaels misses with a wild body shot. Michaels thows a body shot but no joy. Brown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Michaels dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Michaels fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Brown out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jerry Michaels!
