And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Syezd Kepe Eses!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kepe Eses lands a nice looking body kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kepe Eses.
Trayne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trayne wants it to stay on the feet.
Trayne moves out of range of the body kick from Kepe Eses.
Kepe Eses fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kepe Eses misses with a head kick.
Trayne shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Trayne wants to clinch up but Kepe Eses keeps it at a distance.
Trayne is looking to clinch.
Trayne moves to clinch but Kepe Eses breaks away
and Kepe Eses counters with a good, hard body kick but Trayne shrugs it off.
Trayne is breathing heavily.
Kepe Eses misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kepe Eses shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Trayne is trying to defend but Kepe Eses finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Well, if Kepe Eses is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kepe Eses postures up in Trayne's guard and throws a big left but Trayne blocks it.
Kepe Eses trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kepe Eses is pushing down on Trayne's leg trying to pass to half guard. Trayne is fighting to maintain full guard but Kepe Eses has managed to sneak the leg through.
Trayne pushes Kepe Eses off looking to stand but Kepe Eses dives back in and keeps control.
Kepe Eses throwing shots but Trayne is blocking nicely.
Kepe Eses thows a huge punch but Trayne dodges it nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kepe Eses wants to take a breather but Trayne is having none of it.
Kepe Eses has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kepe Eses working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Trayne's thigh. Trayne counters though and makes it back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trayne is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Trayne keeping moving, preventing Kepe Eses from controlling successfully.
Kepe Eses works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kepe Eses is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Trayne reverses the position - he's now on top in Kepe Eses's guard.

Kepe Eses bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trayne's guard.
Kepe Eses wants to control from the top but Trayne keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kepe Eses trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Syezd Kepe Eses dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Kepe Eses tries a low kick but Trayne avoids it.
Trayne takes a kick to the side of the head.

Trayne misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Trayne blocks a head kick by Kepe Eses.
Kepe Eses throws a sloppy head kick and Trayne moves out of range easily.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Trayne.
Kepe Eses working hard to break the clinch.
Trayne works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Kepe Eses wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Trayne has him pressed against the cage.
Trayne misses with a knee strike.
Kepe Eses looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Trayne scores with a shoulder strike.
Trayne scores with a nice hook to the head.

Trayne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kepe Eses closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Trayne misses with a head kick.
Kepe Eses lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Trayne moves in looking to clinch but Kepe Eses pushes him off.
Kepe Eses delivers a nice body kick.
Decent striking displayed by Trayne there.
Trayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kepe Eses swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Trayne lands with a straight right. Kepe Eses didn't see that one coming.
Trayne moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kepe Eses throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Trayne.

Trayne ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Trayne wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Trayne cracks Kepe Eses with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Colton Trayne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Trayne throws a body punch but Kepe Eses moves out of range.
Kepe Eses has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Trayne.
Trayne connects with a looping right hand.
A solid leg kick lands there for Trayne.
Kepe Eses jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Good exchange - Trayne coming out on top.


It looks like Syezd Kepe Eses has been cut.
Trayne cracks Kepe Eses with a right hand to the side of the head.
Trayne connects with a jab.
Trayne walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kepe Eses drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Trayne swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kepe Eses's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colton Trayne!
Colton Trayne seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
