Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Boxer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaiser Soze! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soze slips a jab from Boxer. Soze misses with a double jab.
No joy there for Soze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boxer looks to land a right hand but Soze moved out of range. Soze scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Boxer misses with a right hand enabling Soze to counter with a crisp jab. Soze throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Soze takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Boxer connects with a high kick. Boxer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Soze closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boxer circles away. Boxer looks for a takedown but Soze sprawls well. Boxer takes one to the chin there. Boxer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Soze. Boxer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Soze is out of range.

Soze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This has been an exciting period of action! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Soze utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Boxer with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soze looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Boxer puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Boxer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Soze defending well though. Soze keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Boxer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Boxer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Soze avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Boxer. Soze tries to roll over but Boxer keeps him under control. Boxer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Soze with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boxer thows a huge punch but Soze dodges it nicely.
Boxer is thwarting Soze's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Boxer will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Soze shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Boxer counters with a good, hard body kick but Soze shrugs it off. Joe Boxer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boxer jabs Soze right on the nose. Soze blinks but takes it well. Soze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boxer throws a right and a left that Soze avoids nicely. Boxer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Soze looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Soze avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boxer throws a sloppy head kick and Soze moves out of range easily. Soze with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boxer to score with a decent uppercut. A head kick misses from Boxer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boxer slips a straight right by Soze. Soze throws a push kick but Boxer slaps the foot to one side. Soze feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boxers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Boxer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Soze shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boxer sprawls well. Boxer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Soze gets slowly back to his feet. Boxer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soze. Boxer has gone for a leg lock! Soze slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boxer's guard. Soze engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Soze passes Boxer's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kaiser Soze has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soze seems to be working for a kimura but Boxer defends the submission attempt. Soze thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boxer's head. Boxer taking some punishment here, with Soze in his half guard. Boxer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boxer actively working from the bottom here. Boxer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Soze pulls his head out easily. Soze is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Soze wants to take a breather but Boxer is having none of it.

Boxer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Boxer. Soze trying to control but Boxer is working from the bottom. Joe Boxer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boxer trying to keep a closed guard but Soze is proving a slippery customer.

Soze trying to control but Boxer is working from the bottom. Soze is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Soze trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Soze scoring with punches to the head and body. Boxer keeping moving, preventing Soze from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boxer wants to stand and escape but Soze is having none of it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Soze scoring with some ground and pound. Boxer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Soze can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kaiser Soze. Well Boxer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
