Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liam Neeson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Siret Konson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Siret Konson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Liam Neeson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Siret Konson! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konson misses with a takedown and Neeson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Neeson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Neeson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neeson drops back looking for a leg! Konson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Konson manages to kick Neeson off! Neeson jumps back into Konson's guard. Neeson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Konson is trying to keep Neeson in close.
Konson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Neeson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Neeson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neeson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Konson wants to get back to full guard. Konson taking some punishment here, with Neeson in his half guard. Still in half guard, Neeson seems content to control. Konson wants to get back to full guard. Neeson winds up and cracks Konson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Well, if Neeson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Neeson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Neeson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neeson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Neeson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Liam Neeson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Konson misses with a few strikes there.
Konson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Neeson sprawls well. Neeson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Konson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neeson shoots for a double leg takedown but Konson sprawls well. He's pushed Neeson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Neeson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Neeson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Neeson landing strikes from the mount. Neeson controlling from the full mount. Neeson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Neeson content just to control the position here. Konson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neeson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Neeson cracks Konson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neeson looking to finish Konson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Konson! Neeson controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liam Neeson dominated that round. That's time! Neeson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Neeson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Konson avoids it really well and circles away. Konson scores with a kick to the body.
Konson shoots for a takedown but Neeson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. No joy there for Konson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Neeson shoots in for a takedown but Konson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Konson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Neeson back to the cage. Konson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Konson wants to clinch but Neeson slips to the side and Neeson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Konson! Neeson looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Konson has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Konson is breathing heavily. Neeson is cranking Konson's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Konson! He's tightened the choke and Konson is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Liam Neeson!
