Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Requina fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Washburn manages to avoid it.
Washburn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Requina is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Washburn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Requina has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Washburn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Requina blocks an uppercut.
Washburn jumps into guard, dragging Requina to the mat.

Washburn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Requina swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Requina throws a lazy right hand but Washburn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Requina drops down looking for an ankle pick but Washburn pulls his leg out and moves away.

Washburn shoots in looking for a takedown. Requina tries to sprawl out of it but Washburn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Requina manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Washburn gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Requina ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Washburn out cold! The fight is over!
