Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Big Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lock Jaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Time comes into the arena with Make it to the Big Time blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Big Time!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lock Jaw!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time is looking to clinch but Jaw is avoiding it.
Jaw connects with a good right hand that stumbles Time. Time circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jaw rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Time moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jaw swinging wilding here.
Jaw takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Time misses with a low kick.
Jaw looks to land a combination but Time avoids it well.
Time tries to clinch up but Jaw circles away and keeps his distance.

Jaw takes the fight into the clinch.
Time avoiding damage as Jaw throws knees to the body.
Jaw tries to land knees in the clinch but Time avoids the damage to the body.
Time wants to stall.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jaw wants to control from the top but Time keeps moving.

Time working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jaw doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jaw manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jaw is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round but I would say that The Big Time will probably get the nod.
