Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lion Zyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zyon to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Zyon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Zyon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brandao swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brandao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zyon on the ground.
Zyon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lion Zyon wasn't active enough on the ground.
Zyon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brandao's guard.

Zyon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brandao gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Zyon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zyon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zyon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zyon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brandao.
Brandao throws a shot from downtown. Zyon moves away and avoids it.
Brandao is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Zyon feints and as Brandao raises his hands in defense, Zyon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Brandao slaps away a takedown attempt from Zyon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Diego Brandao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zyon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brandao napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lion Zyon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Zyon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brandao tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zyon was well out of range. Poor timing from Brandao.
Lion Zyon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brandao swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zyon counters by clinching up.
Zyon pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zyon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Zyon is controlling Brandao's posture.

Brandao looking to sit in guard and control but Zyon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brandao is working an open guard so Zyon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Brandao throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zyon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Brandao!
Brandao is wriggling around trying to escape.
Brandao tries to control Zyon's body but Zyon pushes him off. Brandao squirms to his side and now Zyon has his back!
Brandao is trapped and Zyon is scoring with shots to the head and body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zyon really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Brandao.

Diego Brandao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

What can Brandao do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Zyon is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Lion Zyon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brandao rolls, trying to escape but Zyon keeps control of the position.

Lion Zyon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
