Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Izaac Kari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kari has chosen Judas Priest - Painkiller as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kris Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Izaac Kari! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh tries for a takedown but Kari circles away easily and Kari counters with a good low kick that Marsh was not able to check. A slapping body kick lands there for Kari. Kari swings for the body but Marsh moves out of range.
Marsh punishes Kari's body with a nice straight punch. Marsh on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kari scores with a jab to the body. Kari scores with a head kick. Marsh tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. This has been an exciting period of action! Kari misses with a body kick. Kari misses with a body shot.
Marsh has his takedown stuffed and Kari counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marsh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick lands from Kari. Marsh gets a double leg takedown into Kari's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kari is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Marsh wants to control from the top but Kari keeps moving. Kari wants to sweep but no luck. Kari working a defensive guard here.
Kari preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kari keeping moving, preventing Marsh from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Marsh scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh moves out of range of the body kick from Kari.
Marsh lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Marsh closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kari quickly recovers to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kari is looking for a sweep. Marsh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kari wants to control but Marsh is keeping busy.
Marsh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Marsh wants to free his trapped foot but Kari is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kari gets full guard. Kari trying to keep a closed guard but Marsh is proving a slippery customer.
Marsh wants to pass the guard but Kari is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh trying to control but Kari is working from the bottom. Marsh is working Kari over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Marsh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Marsh throws a big elbow that misses. Kari is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Marsh won't allow Kari to sweep him here. Marsh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kari is pushing Marsh's head away, looking to escape. Marsh manages to hold on to the position though. Marsh throws a strike aimed at the side of Kari's head but Kari avoids it well. Kari on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Kari takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kari tries to bench press Marsh off him but Marsh keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kari avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Marsh. Marsh trying to control the action but Kari is working from the bottom. Marsh in side control lands a decent elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Marsh looks up at the clock and then as Kari takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Marsh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kari taking a bit of punishment here - Marsh scoring with strikes.
Kari is rocked! Marsh scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kari is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Marsh can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kris Marsh! Kris Marsh decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
