Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Kampemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDonald fails with the takedown.
Kampemann misses with a double jab
and MacDonald counters with a nice uppercut.
Kampemann takes one on the button.
MacDonald fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
MacDonald keeps the fight on the outside.
MacDonald throws a lazy right hand but Kampemann sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kampemann throws a series of punches but MacDonald moves out of range.

Rory MacDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kampemann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but MacDonald moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kampemann is pressed up against the cage. MacDonald has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kampemann down to the mat. Kampemann avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

MacDonald throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

MacDonald looks to land a combination but Kampemann avoids it well.
MacDonald tries to keep at a distance but Kampemann has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kampemann misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from MacDonald.

Kampemann has picked MacDonald up - he's going for a ride! Kampemann dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
MacDonald is trying to stand back up but Kampemann is controlling him

Kampemann moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Kampemann has worked his way into a potential kimura here. MacDonald is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kampemann yanks on the arm and MacDonald is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kampemann.
