Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Black Hinampak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Xerxes Alves!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinampak lands with a slapping head kick.
Alves moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hinampak tries to land a front kick but Alves steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Alves throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hinampak fakes the leg kick and cracks Alves in the body.
Hinampak thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Alves if he has to take too many more of those.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alves swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hinampak counters with a head kick.
Nice shot lands for Alves.
Alves moves into the clinch.
Alves is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hinampak is defending well for now.

Alves makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xerxes Alves dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hinampak connects with a crisp jab.

Hinampak tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Alves finds it's way through Hinampak's defenses.
Hinampak throws a sloppy head kick and Alves moves out of range easily.

Hinampak is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alves connects with a massive knee from the clinch and Hinampak goes down! Alves jumps into full mount looking to finish!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Alves trying to control but Hinampak is having none of it.
Alves wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Alves takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hinampak is squirming around, avoiding Alves's attempts to control the action.
Hinampak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hinampak tries to get out of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Xerxes Alves wasn't active enough on the ground.
Alves tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hinampak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alves swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hinampak.
Alves has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Alves stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hinampak.
Hinampak throws the kick towards the body but Alves avoids it.
Good standup being displayed there by Alves as he connects with a hook.

Alves tries to bum rush Hinampak with a series of wild strikes but Hinampak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hinampak takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Black Hinampak's cut is getting worse.

Alves looks to land a left hand but Hinampak moved out of range nicely.
Alves clinches.
Alves lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hinampak or not.
Black Hinampak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A nice right hand lands inside from Alves.
And that's the end of the fight!
Xerxes Alves comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Alves has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
