Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Zenkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Sparda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brutus Zenkowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dante Sparda! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zenkowski misses with a head kick.
Zenkowski lands an overhand right. Zenkowski throws a head kick but Sparda moves out of range.
Sparda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Brutus Zenkowski has been cut. Zenkowski misses with a straight left. Zenkowski tries to sprawl but Sparda drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Zenkowski is trying to stand up here but Sparda is controlling him well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sparda is trying to control the action in half guard but Zenkowski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Zenkowski is defending against the submission attempts here by Sparda.

Zenkowski trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Sparda is trying to control the action in half guard but Zenkowski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sparda landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sparda is looking for a kimura but Zenkowski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sparda to get the leverage. Zenkowski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zenkowski tries to get out of the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sparda wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zenkowski keeps working. Sparda drops an elbow to the side of Zenkowski's head. Sparda prevents Zenkowski from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Sparda seems content to control. Sparda thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zenkowski's head. Sparda throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Zenkowski tries to kick Sparda off but Sparda keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sparda is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sparda stops Zenkowski from getting back to his feet.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sparda lands a nice short elbow. Ground and pound from Sparda. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sparda in particular looking to stall. Sparda winds up and cracks Zenkowski with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sparda not doing much here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sparda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zenkowski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sparda is looking to advance position but Zenkowski won't allow it. Zenkowski is trying to stand up here but Sparda is controlling him well. Sparda not landing any meaningful shots this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zenkowski is trying to stand up here but Sparda is controlling him well. Sparda working Zenkowski over with strikes. Sparda prevents Zenkowski from standing back up.

Dante Sparda dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brutus Zenkowski's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sparda ducks under a wild hook from Zenkowski. Sparda scores with a jab. Zenkowski misses with a double jab.
Zenkowski feints a jab promting Sparda to slip. Zenkowski then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sparda slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Sparda steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zenkowski. Zenkowski throws a hook but Sparda avoids it easily. Zenkowski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sparda. Sparda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zenkowski connects with a right hand. Sparda shakes it off. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sparda, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zenkowski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sparda lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Zenkowski falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
