Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Lee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Hansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Lee! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Hansen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Hansen throws a head kick that misses. Lee lands a front kick. Lee thumps Hansen with a low kick. Lee lands a big head kick that sends Hansen tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Hansen back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hansen is looking to clinch. Lee works Hansen's body with a nice hook. Hansen throws a half hearted mid kick. Hansen misses with a two punch combination.
Lee bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. James Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee lands a big head kick that sends Hansen tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Hansen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hansen is rocked! Lee clinches up with Hansen and pushes him back against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Hansen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now. Lee displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hansen up against the cage. Lee manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Lee. That's going to slow Hansen down. Hansen throws a sloppy head kick and Lee counters with a nice body shot. Hansen is breathing heavily. Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hansen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hansen takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss. Hansen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hansen takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lee lands with a nice body punch. Lee cracks the inside of Hansen's front leg. Hansen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.
Lee keeps Hansen at a distance using the push kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lee scores with a head kick. Hansen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Lee connects with a solid leg kick. Lee lands a head kick!
Lee misses with the combination.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lee. That's going to slow Hansen down. Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hansen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lee lands a high kick!
Oh Hansen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lee and Hansen are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Lee throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Hansen into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Lee knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). James Lee! An out of breath James Lee thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
