Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Jaggers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Jaggers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Miranda! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaggers fails to land with a series of punches.
Jaggers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jaggers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jaggers lands in his opponent's guard. Jaggers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jaggers is looking to work some ground and pound but Miranda has wrist control. Miranda wants to sweep but no luck. Miranda is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Miranda is looking for a kimura but Jaggers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miranda to get the leverage. Miranda takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Miranda looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Miranda is looking to take a break and control but Jaggers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miranda tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jaggers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Miranda is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Carlos Miranda has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Miranda staying out of range there. Matt Jaggers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jaggers keeps the fight on the outside. Miranda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jaggers paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jaggers misses with a few strikes there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaggers shoots in but Miranda avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jaggers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Miranda. Jaggers misses with the combination.
Miranda slaps away a takedown attempt from Jaggers, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jaggers takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Miranda forces Jaggers back against the cage and clinches. Miranda gets control of Jaggers's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miranda will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Miranda wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Miranda uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miranda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jaggers is looking to control Miranda's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jaggers avoid being mounted? Miranda thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miranda is trying to control the action in half guard but Jaggers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Miranda wants to pass to mount but Jaggers is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miranda is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Miranda is controlling the pace.
Jaggers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Miranda dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A swing and a miss from Jaggers. Miranda looks for the body kick but Jaggers saw that one coming. Jaggers misses with the combination.
Jaggers swings for the body but Miranda moves out of range.
Miranda clinches up with Jaggers and pushes him back against the cage. Jaggers wants a takedown but no success here.
Miranda gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Miranda postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Miranda sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jaggers's guard. Carlos Miranda has got the better of the ground game so far. Jaggers blocking the ground and pound attempt from Miranda. Jaggers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miranda scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaggers blocking the ground and pound attempt from Miranda. Miranda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Miranda controlling the pace. Miranda prevents Jaggers from standing back up.
Miranda is trying to control. Jaggers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jaggers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jaggers tries to get out of the position. Jaggers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jaggers is refusing to be controlled, as Miranda sits in half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Miranda is working for a submission of some sort.
Miranda wants to take a breather but Jaggers is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaggers is looking to improve his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carlos Miranda. Jaggers throws a looping overhand right but Miranda ducks down to avoid it. Miranda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Miranda instigates a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miranda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Miranda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jaggers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jaggers looking to sit in guard and control but Miranda gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jaggers looking to control but Miranda passes into half guard.
Miranda seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Miranda working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miranda frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Miranda looking to control and managing it successfully. Miranda raining down shots from the mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jaggers is in a horrible position here. Miranda smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miranda prevents Jaggers from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Miranda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Jaggers misses with a right hand and Miranda counters with a nice leg kick. Miranda lands with a slapping head kick.
Jaggers is rocked!
It looks like Matt Jaggers has been cut. Miranda circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Jaggers tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Miranda wins by KO!
