Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ion Iliescu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shamrock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Boys on the docks. Thor Shamrock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock misses with a double jab
and Iliescu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shamrock won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Iliescu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Shamrock, who protects the arm well.
Iliescu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shamrock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Shamrock misses with a jab, cross combination.
