Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dante Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris The Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver comes to the cage accompanied by Machine Gun - Manu Chao. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dante Carver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris The Great! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carver stuffs the takedown. The Great connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Some wild striking there from Carver.
Carver lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by The Great!
A looping hook to the body misses from The Great. Carver does a little dance to reset his feet. The Great dives in and grabs Carver's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carver pushes down on The Great's head and hops out. Carver avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The Great moves into range and connects with a jab. Carver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and The Great counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Great misses with a looping left. Carver fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Carver throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The Great shoots for a takedown but Carver saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dante Carver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris The Great. Carver scores a takedown into full mount! Carver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as The Great is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carver avoids the attempt from The Great to control. The Great prevents Carver from taking his back. Carver controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Great really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver wants to control the pace but The Great is squirming around nicely. The Great keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The Great suckers Carver into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! The Great is now in Carver's guard!
The Great wants to pass the guard but Carver is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carver seems keen to control The Great's posture. The Great trying to control but Carver is working from the bottom. Carver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Carver keeping full guard, as The Great tries to pass. The Great slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The Great wants to control but Carver is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Great working away. The Great thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Carver is looking for a sweep. The Great is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carver knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Carver is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Great is looking for a kimura here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dante Carver will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The Great shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carver as he jumps to the side. The Great will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Carver throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Great sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chris The Great seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Great takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Carver will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The Great lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Carver shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carver showed some decent athleticism there. Carver is trying to control the action in half guard but The Great is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carver wants to work for an arm triangle but The Great is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The Great tries to roll over but Carver keeps him under control. The Great looking for a kimura from the bottom but Carver passes into side control! The Great struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver trying to control the position but The Great is working away. The Great tries to bench press Carver off him but Carver keeps the position. The Great is trying to escape the position but Carver is controlling the position. Carver wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Great keeps working. Carver is trying to get an arm triangle but The Great is defending well. Carver wants to take a breather but The Great manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Carver.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Great keeping full guard, as Carver tries to pass. The Great keeping moving, preventing Carver from controlling successfully. Carver tries to free his leg and advance position but The Great is retaining full guard. Carver trying to control the position from guard on top but The Great is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Great working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carver doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carver manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Carver wants to control from the top but The Great keeps moving. The Great has his foot on Carver's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carver works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carver controls from within his opponent's guard. Carver trying to control the position from guard on top but The Great is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dante Carver dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
The Great changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carver tries to avoid it but The Great manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carver to the ground. Carver escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The Great takes a swing at Carver's ribcage but misses. Carver feints and as The Great raises his hands in defense, Carver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The Great keeping moving, preventing Carver from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Great holds on and takes a little breather. Carver is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dante Carver just wasn't active enough. Carver misses with a few strikes there.
The Great scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The Great trying to control the action but Carver is working from the bottom. The Great is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carver is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The Great wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carver keeps working. Carver manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver is pressing down on The Great's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Carver has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Great can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Carver tries to land a sweep but no joy. Carver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dante Carver overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The Great advances to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carver is staying active underneath The Great, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Carver makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carver. Carver working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Great doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Carver is tightening it up a little... The Great has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! The Great reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! The Great taps out! Nice BJJ there by Carver!
