Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Leszczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza swats away the attempt to clinch by Leszczynski.

De Souza shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. De Souza showed some decent athleticism there.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

De Souza closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Leszczynski's guard.

De Souza got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leszczynski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, De Souza has managed to get both his arms back between Leszczynski's legs - danger averted.

De Souza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
