Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bj Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bj Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Bailey! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole blocks a head kick by Bailey.
Cole moves into the clinch successfully.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Bailey seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. Cole ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cole no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bailey stopping the sweep attempt from Cole. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bailey is fighting to break Cole's control of his arms but Cole is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bailey wants to control from the top but Cole keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bailey is one step ahead there. Bailey is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bill Bailey. Bailey shoots in for a takedown but Cole shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cole looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bailey working a defensive guard here.
Cole is working Bailey over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bailey fails with a takedown attempt. Cole avoids the head kick by Bailey.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bailey.
Cole closes the distance and clinches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bailey has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cole after a bit of a struggle. Bj Cole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Bailey. Bailey is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cole is keeping busy. Cole manages to pull guard.
Cole is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bj Cole. Cole manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bailey on his heels. He'll look to pass Bailey's guard now, I'm sure. Cole forces his way into half guard. Cole uses his free foot to push down on Bailey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bailey.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole is landing with some decent strikes but Bailey is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. BOOM! Cole connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cole lands with some strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole looking to secure an arm triangle but Bailey defends it well. Cole controlling from the full mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bailey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bj Cole dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bailey. Bj Cole is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bailey scores with a hook to the body. Cole takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cole clinches. Cole taking a breather. Bailey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cole prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bailey goes for a takedown attempt but Cole pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bj Cole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Bailey. A combination from Cole does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cole has closed the distance and engaged Bailey in a clinch.
Bailey is trying to maintain a safe position but Cole gets an underhook and turns Bailey into the cage. Bailey breaks the clinch.

Cole moves in looking to clinch but Bailey pushes him off. Cole shoots in for a takedown but Bailey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bailey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bailey tries to clinch but Cole is having none of it. Bailey tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cole counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole moves into full mount! Bailey won't be happy about that! Bailey is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cole working for a submission but Bailey is keeping him at bay. Cole controlling the pace for now. Bailey taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole content just to control the position here. Cole has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cole goes for an armbar but Bailey turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bailey.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bailey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cole is striking from the bottom but Bailey uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Cole flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Cole kicks off Bailey and gets to his feet. Cole tries to land a body kick and Bailey counters with a solid body kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cole throws a right and a left that both miss. Cole fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bailey avoids it really well and circles away. Cole keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bj Cole dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bailey tries a head kick but it misses.
Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cole swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cole defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bailey. Cole keeps the fight on the outside. Cole drives through with a takedown into Bailey's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Cole loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bj Cole overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bailey is working an open guard so Cole takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cole shoots in looking for a takedown. Bailey tries to sprawl out of it but Cole keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bailey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cole circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cole rushes Bailey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cole tries to pull guard but Bailey won't allow it.
Bailey struggles to land a body shot inside as Cole controls his hands.
Cole decides to pull guard. Cole looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bailey is one step ahead there. Cole pushes Bailey off and gets back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole has taken the fight to the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Cole. Cole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cole shoots in and drives through. Bailey sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bj Cole. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cole keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cole struggles to land a body shot inside as Bailey controls his hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole tries to pull guard but Bailey forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Cole looking to slow down the pace here. Cole gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bailey.

Cole misses with a knee strike.
Cole using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bailey has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bailey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cole uses from the top position. Cole trying to control but Bailey is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole stays in close to Bailey's body and controls the position. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Bailey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bailey is looking for a triangle here but Cole uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Cole takes a little break here. Bailey wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Bill Bailey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bj Cole is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Bj Cole showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cole, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
