Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heavy Hitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by P.I.M.P By 50 Cent Ft Snoop Dogg. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitter doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hitter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hitter.
Hitter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
John Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heavy Hitter.
Jones wants to slow Hitter down by chopping away at his legs.
Hitter with a poor takedown
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jones avoids the body shot from Hitter.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hitter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hitter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Good exchange - Jones coming out on top.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Hitter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hitter is one step ahead there.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hitter on the ground.

Hitter postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Hitter trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hitter stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
Jones pulls Hitter in close to prevent any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hitter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jones has momentary wrist control but Hitter slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hitter works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hitter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hitter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Hitter in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jones tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hitter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Heavy Hitter!
Post fight, an emotional Heavy Hitter said 'I hugged-ed him til he became a ghost. Go away scary ghost!'.
