Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Calaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Tatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calaway comes to the cage accompanied by R.I.P.. Tatov has chosen Soundgarden - Superunknown as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Calaway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Igor Tatov! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooh!!! Calaway has knocked Tatov down with a huge combo! Calaway steps away and waves a wobbly Tatov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Igor Tatov has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Calaway throws a combination that misses and Tatov counters by moving into the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Tatov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Tatov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Calaway backwards. Calaway misses with some punches.
Calaway tries to break the clinch but Tatov is controlling the position. Tatov keeps control of Calaway as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tatov lands a hook that snaps the head of Calaway backwards. Calaway misses with the head strike.
Tatov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Calaway pulls his leg out and moves away.
Calaway scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tatov wants to land a leg kick but Calaway is out of range. Calaway misses with a body shot.
Calaway bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tatov's head backwards. Calaway blocks a low kick nicely. Calaway will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tatov is defended easily by Calaway. Calaway swings away with a leg kick that misses. Mark Calaway is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Calaway misses with the combination.

Tatov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Calaway connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tatov. Tatov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Calaway misses with the combination.

and Tatov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Mark Calaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tatov slips under a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calaway takes a swing at Tatov's ribcage but misses. Calaway shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Tatov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tatov blocks a jab. Tatov with a body punch. A glancing blow. Jab from Calaway. Tatov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Calaway as he jumps to the side. Mark Calaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Tatov. Tatov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Calaway lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tatov connects with a jab. Calaway is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Calaway throws a leg kick and Tatov counters with a stiff right hand. Calaway lands a nice hook to Tatov's body. Tatov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Calaway drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Tatov lands a jab-cross combination. Calaway throws a shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Calaway throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Calaway jabs at Tatov's body. Tatov thows a left - swing and a miss! Calaway works the jab nicely. Calaway misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tatov.
Tatov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Calaway takes one to the chin there. Tatov scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tatov loads up on a big right hand but Calaway slips the punch. Calaway misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tatov thumps Calaway with a low kick. Tatov fails with an attempt to clinch.

Calaway throws a body punch but Tatov moves out of range. Calaway throws a right and a left that Tatov avoids nicely. Calaway looks to land a right hand but Tatov moved out of range. Calaway throws a hook but Tatov avoids it easily. A swing and a miss from Calaway. A slow jab from Calaway misses its intended target. Calaway thows a left - swing and a miss! Tatov forces Calaway back against the cage and clinches. Calaway pushes Tatov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Calaway working hard to break the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tatov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Calaway swings wildly with an uppercut but Tatov uses good head movement to avoid it. Calaway doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A short uppercut from Tatov. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Calaway dominated that round. The cut man is working on Igor Tatov's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Calaway lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tatov circles away quickly and effectively. Calaway throws a series of punches but Tatov moves out of range. Calaway scores with a jab to the head.
The fighters circling - Calaway throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Calaway throws an overhand right that lands on Tatov's shoulder, as Tatov tries to avoid the shot. Calaway scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Calaway finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Tatov throws a leg kick but Calaway sees it coming and checks it nicely. Calaway feints a jab promting Tatov to slip. Calaway then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tatov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. A lazy left from Tatov finds it's target. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tatov!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Calaway misses with a wild combination.

Calaway throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tatov. Calaway on the wrong end of a nice jab. Tatov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tatov wants to pass the guard but Calaway is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calaway working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tatov. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tatov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Calaway can't keep his opponent in guard - Tatov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tatov passes to side control. Tatov tries to move to mount but Calaway blocks the move with his legs. Tatov looks up at the clock and then as Calaway takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tatov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Calaway struggling a bit here. Calaway is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Tatov wants to control but Calaway is keeping him busy. That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Calaway knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Calaway tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tatov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tatov lands an elbow. Tatov misses with the ground and pound. Igor Tatov has got the better of the ground game so far. Calaway is looking to regain half guard here but Tatov keeps moving and retains side control. Calaway takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Tatov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tatov is looking to take a break and control but Calaway is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tatov throws an elbow but Calaway slips to the side and avoids it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tatov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Calaway sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Igor Tatov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Igor Tatov's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Calaway lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tatov! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tatov is looking to improve his position but Calaway isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatov slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Calaway prevents Tatov from improving his position. Tatov is trying to control but can't.
Tatov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Tatov is staying active underneath Calaway, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tatov holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calaway tries to pass to full mount but Tatov defends it. Tatov is pressing down on Calaway's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Tatov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Calaway gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Calaway won't allow Tatov to sweep him here. Tatov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Calaway wants to control from the top but Tatov keeps moving. Calaway knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tatov on the ground. Tatov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calaway doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calaway manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tatov is looking to sinch up a triangle. Calaway throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tatov's body to avoid the submission. Tatov has instead reached around Calaway's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tatov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Igor Tatov! Igor Tatov took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
