Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bj Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Job Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bj Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Job Dodson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole closes the distance and pushes Dodson back into the cage. Cole breaks from the clinch.
Cole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dodson.
Cole gets a double leg takedown into Dodson's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Dodson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cole stands and steps away. Dodson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dodson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cole manages to avoid it. Cole misses with a few strikes there.
Cole has managed to clinch.
Dodson swings wildly with an uppercut but Cole uses good head movement to avoid it. Dodson has a couple of punches blocked by Cole.

Cole turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cole manages to end up in side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dodson tries to buck Cole off but Cole is having none of it. Dodson can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Dodson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cole wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Cole controls the position. Dodson can't do much from the bottom here. Dodson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cole kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Dodson is trying to get back to half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole stands up and we're back to a striking position. A slow jab from Dodson misses its intended target. Dodson throws a body punch but Cole moves out of range. Dodson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Dodson swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dodson throwing strikes but missing. Cole is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dodson distracts Cole with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dodson lands a big elbow - Cole is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Dodson!
