Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mika Kovalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mika Kovalainen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Blue Belt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mika Kovalainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Belt! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovalainen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Belt to the mat! Belt manages to get full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Belt is trying to control the position but Kovalainen postures up. Kovalainen pushes down on Belt's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kovalainen is looking for a kimura here.
Kovalainen is trying to control the action in half guard but Belt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Belt missing with punches from the bottom.
Belt wants to get back to full guard. Belt is refusing to be controlled, as Kovalainen sits in half guard. Belt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kovalainen prevents Belt from improving his position. Kovalainen trying to control from half guard but Belt is working away. Kovalainen lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belt actively working from the bottom here. Kovalainen thows a huge punch but Belt dodges it nicely.
Belt is trying to maintain the position but Kovalainen is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belt looking for submissions off his back. Kovalainen is nestled in close to Belt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Belt moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kovalainen wants to control from the top but Belt keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belt keeping full guard, as Kovalainen tries to pass. Belt throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Kovalainen trying to control the position from guard on top but Belt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kovalainen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Belt working a defensive guard here.
Kovalainen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Belt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kovalainen. Belt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kovalainen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Belt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Belt is trying to control the position but Kovalainen postures up. Belt is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kovalainen throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Belt's body to avoid the submission. Belt has instead reached around Kovalainen's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Belt arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Blue Belt! An out of breath and clearly excited Blue Belt thanked Brute for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
