The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thom moves into the clinch.
Smirnov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Smirnov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thom pulls his leg out and moves away.
Smirnov clinches up with Thom and pushes him back against the cage.
Come on Smirnov - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Smirnov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Smirnov is trying to drag Thom to the mat but Thom just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
