Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phrisbee OReiley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Wyrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). OReiley comes to the cage accompanied by Shoot To Thrill. Wyrm has chosen Don't Tread by Damn Yankees as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winston Wyrm! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OReiley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wyrm tries to keep at a distance but OReiley has taken the fight into the clinch. A knee to the head by OReiley.

OReiley wants the takedown. Wyrm is fighting it off but OReiley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wyrm's guard against the cage. OReiley works a leg free and moves into half guard. OReiley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. OReiley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wyrm wants to improve his position but OReiley is controlling well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wyrm moves into full guard.

Wyrm keeping moving, preventing OReiley from controlling successfully. Wyrm is trying to control the position but OReiley postures up. Wyrm can't keep his opponent in guard - OReiley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wyrm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but OReiley pulls his head out easily. OReiley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wyrm gets full guard. OReiley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wyrm swivels though and keeps the full guard. OReiley wants to control from the top but Wyrm keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyrm is controlling OReiley's posture. Wyrm trying to control the position.
Wyrm tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wyrm working for a triangle but OReiley defends it easily.
OReiley throwing strikes from guard but Wyrm blocks nicely. OReiley is looking to work some ground and pound but Wyrm has wrist control. Wyrm trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. OReiley works a leg free and moves into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with OReiley in particular looking to stall. OReiley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wyrm has managed to free his arm - good work. Wyrm gets full guard. OReiley content to stall in guard here. Wyrm wants to hit a switch here but OReiley passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Wyrm there! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. OReiley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phrisbee OReiley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wyrm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. OReiley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wyrm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A combination from Wyrm does no damage. OReiley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. OReiley seems to be working for a kimura but Wyrm defends the submission attempt. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wyrm can do anything to dispel that myth. OReiley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wyrm is not content to let OReiley control the position. OReiley maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Wyrm could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but OReiley has cracked it and Wyrm is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by OReiley!
