Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Havoc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ben ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Havoc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ben ahr!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havoc tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Havoc shoots in and drives through. ahr sprawls well.
ahr takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Havoc looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Havoc is looking to clinch.

Havoc looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for ahr!
ahr is in all sorts of trouble here.
Havoc working the ground and pound effectively.
ahr slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Havoc looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Havoc working ahr over with strikes.
ahr has a hand on Havoc's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Havoc takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

BOOM! Havoc connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Havoc stands up from mount. Strange move.
Havoc rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but ahr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Havoc wants to clinch.
Havoc is looking to clinch.

Havoc closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Havoc wants to lay and pray for a moment but ahr keeps working.
ahr prevents Havoc from improving position.
Havoc passes to full mount! That's big trouble for ahr!

Havoc lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Havoc can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as ahr is looking to escape.
ahr is trying desperately to improve position.
Havoc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Havoc has hold of ahr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and ahr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

ahr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Havoc lands a big shot there that rocks ahr but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
ahr is in all sorts of trouble here.

Havoc wants to control the pace but ahr is squirming around nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ahr is working to get back to half guard.

Havoc with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Havoc tries to control but ahr wriggling away.
ahr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Havoc shoots in but no luck this time.
Havoc avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
An inside leg kick lands from Havoc.
ahr shoots in looking for a takedown. Havoc tries to sprawl out of it but ahr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Havoc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Havoc throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Havoc is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Havoc might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

ahr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Havoc is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of ahr, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

ahr tries to land a sweep but no joy.

ahr is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
ahr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Havoc with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Havoc is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
ahr tries to land a sweep but no joy.

ahr looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Havoc drops back looking for a leg! ahr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and ahr manages to kick Havoc off! Havoc jumps back into ahr's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
ahr slips a jab and a cross from Havoc.

ahr shoots in and bounces Havoc off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Havoc is trying to hold ahr in close to prevent damage but ahr has managed to pass into half guard.
Paul Havoc overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
ahr is trying to control the action in half guard but Havoc is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

ahr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
ahr is thwarting Havoc's attempts to control the position.

Havoc is looking for a sweep. ahr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

ahr is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ahr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Havoc defending well though.

ahr seems to be working for a kimura but Havoc defends the submission attempt.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
ahr tries to clinch up.

ben ahr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Havoc looks for a takedown but ahr sprawls well.

Havoc gets caught flat footed, as ahr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Havoc bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in ahr's guard.
Havoc postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Havoc is looking to take a break and control but ahr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Havoc manages to capitalize on a mistake by ahr to take his back!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Havoc slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

ahr rolls, trying to escape but Havoc keeps control of the position.
ahr controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
I really don't envy ahr right now.
Havoc is looking to control ahr but ahr is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Havoc controlling well, preventing ahr from escaping the position.
Havoc doesn't have the hooks in and ahr manages to turn into his guard.
Havoc not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Havoc gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and ahr counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Havoc's guard now.
ahr is pushing down on Havoc's leg trying to pass to half guard. Havoc is fighting to maintain full guard but ahr has managed to sneak the leg through.
ahr trying to mount his opponent but Havoc defends it.
ahr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Havoc is trying to control but can't.

ahr decides to return to a standing position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

ben ahr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think ahr has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
