Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connell Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Calm Like a Bomb. Sam Hung has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Hung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Connell Hayes! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hung. Hung waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Hayes. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Hayes to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Hayes is rocked!
It looks like Connell Hayes has been cut. Hung passes Hayes's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hayes is still in real trouble! Can Hung finish him? Hung prevents Hayes from improving his position. Hung drops an elbow to the side of Hayes's head. Hayes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hung has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hayes is looking to control Hung's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hayes avoid being mounted? Hayes seems to have recovered his senses. Hung not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hayes wants to improve his position but Hung is controlling well.
Hung wants to stand up but Hayes has a hold of him and won't allow it. Hung trying to control from half guard but Hayes is working away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hung throws a lazy right hand but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hung looks to score with a jab to the body but Hayes is just out of range. Hung jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hayes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hung misses with a double jab.
Hayes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hung. Hung throws a looping overhand right but Hayes ducks down to avoid it. Hung misses with a straight left. Hung swings for the body but Hayes moves out of range.

and Hayes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hayes is in close to Hung's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hung is trying to hold Hayes in close to prevent damage but Hayes has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayes takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hayes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hung with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hung is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hayes scores with a couple of nice shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hung works his way to full guard. Good work. This has been an exciting period of action! Hayes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hung striking off his back but it's not causing Hayes any problems. Hayes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hayes trying to control the position from guard on top but Hung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hayes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hayes takes a body punch but keeps moving. The fighters circling - Hung throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hung with a nice cross. Hung swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hayes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hung's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hayes's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hayes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hung's guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hayes connects with a nice short shot to Hung's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connell Hayes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Connell Hayes's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hayes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hung moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hung misses with a double jab
and Hayes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hung shoots and misses and Hayes counters with a single leg into guard. Hung didn't expect that. Hung trying to control the position.
Hayes slips nicely into half guard. Hayes missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hung is trying to get back to full guard. Hayes is looking to advance position but Hung won't allow it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hayes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Connell Hayes has got the better of the ground game so far.

Hayes is looking for a kimura but Hung is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hayes to get the leverage. Hung moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hayes postures up.

The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hung is working Hayes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hayes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hung stands and steps away. Hayes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hayes postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hung not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hayes is looking for a sweep. Hung is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hung scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hayes wants to get back to full guard. Hung lands strikes from half guard. Hayes gets full guard. Hayes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
