The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa tries to clinch up
and Balboa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Rokky Balboa has been cut.
Kingman misses with a hook.
Kingman missing with a left hand there. Balboa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kingman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Balboa under the eye.
Kingman throws a hook but Balboa blocks it.
Balboa tries to clinch there but Kingman circles away.
Kingman misses with a leg kick
and Balboa counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kingman blocks a body shot from Balboa.
Kingman manages to break the clinch.
Balboa looks to clinch
and Kingman counters with a huge left! Balboa is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kingman isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Balboa from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kingman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Austin Kingman!
