Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Darkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaco Shaco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaco Shaco is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Darkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaco Shaco!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaco closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Darkov did well to prevent Shaco getting side control.
Darkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Shaco is keen to just control but Darkov is a slippery customer.
Shaco prevents Darkov from standing back up.
Shaco should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Horrible takedown by Shaco or perhaps it was just good defense by Darkov which made him look bad.

Darkov has control of Shaco's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Shaco regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Shaco is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andre Darkov will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Darkov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Shaco fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Darkov to the ground. Shaco is now in Darkov's guard.

Darkov has his foot on Shaco's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shaco works his way back into a safe position though.

Shaco dives in and grabs Darkov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Darkov pushes down on Shaco's head and hops out.
Darkov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shaco swivels and escapes.
A decent looking cross lands there for Shaco.
Darkov rushes Shaco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Darkov gets control of Shaco's arms and successfully pulls guard. Darkov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That's time! Darkov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Shaco leaves Darkov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Shaco lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shaco.
Shaco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Darkov's waist but Darkov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shaco off to one side.
Shaco shoots for a double leg takedown but Darkov sprawls well. He's pushed Shaco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Darkov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shaco!
Shaco is bucking up trying to escape but Darkov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Darkov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
