Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suave Ripkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewan Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ewan Turnbull is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Suave Ripkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ewan Turnbull! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ripkin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Turnbull defends it nicely. Ripkin throws out a leg kick but Turnbull moves out of range and Ripkin only half commits. Ripkin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turnbull tries to avoid it but Ripkin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turnbull to the ground. Turnbull escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ripkin fails to land with a series of punches.
Suave Ripkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for Ripkin with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suave Ripkin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turnbull changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ripkin tries to avoid it but Turnbull manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ripkin to the ground. Ripkin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ripkin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Turnbull sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripkin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Turnbull! Ripkin looking to secure an arm triangle but Turnbull defends it well. Ripkin wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Turnbull really wants to buck Ripkin off and get back to his feet. Ripkin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Turnbull is now in Ripkin's guard. A big mistake from Ripkin there, giving up the dominant position! Turnbull stands and steps away. Ripkin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turnbull throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ripkin's waist but Ripkin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turnbull off to one side. Ripkin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Turnbull on his heels. He'll look to pass Turnbull's guard now, I'm sure. Ripkin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Turnbull is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ripkin, into his guard. Turnbull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ripkin has a closed guard, preventing Turnbull from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripkin working for submissions but it's allowed Turnbull to get to half guard.
Turnbull wants to stand up but Ripkin has a hold of him and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ripkin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Turnbull gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Ripkin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Turnbull to the mat! Turnbull manages to get full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Suave Ripkin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Turnbull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ripkin throws a right and a left that Turnbull avoids nicely. Turnbull fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ripkin avoids it really well and circles away. Ripkin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ripkin is pressing down on Turnbull's thigh, looking to free his foot. Turnbull is holding on for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ripkin is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripkin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turnbull is just riding it out for now. Ripkin eventually gives up the hold. Ripkin wants to control but Turnbull is keeping him busy. Ripkin is working for an americana but Turnbull has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Ripkin was thinking about the submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turnbull is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ripkin is controlling him. Turnbull keeping moving, preventing Ripkin from controlling successfully. Ripkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Turnbull is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Turnbull has escaped and now he's on top! Ripkin is looking for a triangle but Turnbull pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turnbull is looking to stand up but Ripkin won't let him. Ripkin wants to sweep here but Turnbull controlling him for the moment. Ripkin working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Suave Ripkin wasn't doing enough on the ground. Ripkin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ripkin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Turnbull counters with a shoot takedown. Ripkin fights it but they end up in guard. Turnbull wants to get up but he can't break Ripkin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Turnbull stands up and waves to Ripkin to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Suave Ripkin will probably get the nod. That's time! Ripkin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ripkin is trying to control. Turnbull wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ripkin is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripkin trying to pass the guard but Turnbull defending well. Ripkin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ripkin is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ripkin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Turnbull doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ripkin. Ripkin wants to free his trapped foot but Turnbull is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turnbull manages to escape and get back to his feet! Turnbull avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ewan Turnbull has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Turnbull looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ripkin shoots in for a takedown but Turnbull shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ripkin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Turnbull tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ripkin is in Turnbull's guard. Ripkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turnbull swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ripkin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Turnbull is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ripkin, into his guard. Turnbull would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Suave Ripkin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ripkin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
