The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benevides doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Uzamaki counters with a slapping leg kick.
Benevides shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Uzamaki counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Benevides gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Uzamaki counters with a straight right hand.
Naruto Uzamaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Benevides.
Uzamaki throws a leg kick which misses Benevides's front leg but catches the back leg as Benevides tries to avoid it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Uzamaki.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Benevides gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Dave Benevides has been cut.
Uzamaki lands a jab to Benevides's midsection.
