Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Samoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Niaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samoth comes into the arena with Judas Priest - Painkiller blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Samoth rushes Niaz and presses him up against the cage.
Samoth misses with the head strike.

Niaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Samoth darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Dick Niaz has been cut.
Samoth tries to clinch up but Niaz circles away and keeps his distance.
Niaz throws a big shot that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Niaz. Samoth shrugs it off though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Samoth moves out of range of the strikes.
Niaz finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Niaz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dick Niaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Niaz takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Samoth misses with a looping right.

Niaz throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Samoth is breathing heavily.
Samoth chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Niaz can pounce on him.

Niaz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Niaz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Niaz feints a jab promting Samoth to slip. Niaz then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Samoth slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Niaz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Niaz throws a nice inside leg kick.
Niaz jabs at Samoth's body.
Niaz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Niaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Samoth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Niaz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Samoth at a distance.
Good exchange - Niaz coming out on top.
Niaz is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Samoth rather than just go for the knockout.
Niaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Samoth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Niaz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Samoth's sensitive parts.
That kick from Niaz tenderised Samoth's leg. Samoth is trying to keep his angry face on.
Niaz jabs Samoth right on the nose. Samoth blinks but takes it well.
Niaz scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Niaz lands a big head kick that sends Samoth tumbling to the mat! Niaz takes a step backwards and waves Samoth back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Samoth is rocked!
Niaz throws a monster overhand right that drops Samoth! Niaz follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
