Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Angero!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fedorov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Angero tries to roll over but Fedorov keeps him under control.
Fedorov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fedorov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Fedorov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Angero is rocked!
Fedorov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Angero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Angero is still in real trouble! Can Fedorov finish him?

Fedorov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Angero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fedorov defends it easily.
Angero seems to have recovered his senses.

Fedorov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Angero's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Angero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fedorov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fedorov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fedorov is working Angero over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Angero is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fedorov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Angero has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fedorov has managed to get both his arms back between Angero's legs - danger averted.

Fedorov arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Angero's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
