Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Koyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knaivho Krronov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knaivho Krronov struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Knaivho Krronov! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krronov tries to clinch but Koyama moves away and Koyama counters with a left to the body. Koyama circles away from the clinch attempt and Koyama counters with a two punch combo. Koyama thows a body shot but no joy. An inside leg kick lands from Krronov. Krronov tries to clinch but fails miserably and Koyama counters with a left and a right that stings Krronov. Knaivho Krronov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krronov darts in trying to clinch and Koyama counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Krronov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koyama circles away quickly and effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hideo Koyama. Well Koyama has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
