Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurter has closed the distance and engaged Thompson in a clinch.
Hurter tries to break the clinch but Thompson is controlling the position.

Thompson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Thompson is trying to force a seperation but Hurter has the dominant position.
Thompson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hurter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hurter scores with a head kick. Thompson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Thompson rushes Hurter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hurter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Thompson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Thompson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hurter has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Thompson but great work by Hurter.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thompson parries the strikes from Hurter easily there. Hurter is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Thompson to escape.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Thompson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hurter's best efforts.
Hurter is keen to just control but Thompson is a slippery customer.

Hurter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hurter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thompson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Thompson shoots in for a takedown but Hurter shows good takedown defense.

Thompson throws a punch but it's blocked by Hurter.
A frustrated look appears on Thompson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Thompson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hurter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hurter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A left and a right from Hurter both land. Nice combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hurter circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Thompson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hurter follows Thompson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
