Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoan Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rad comes to the cage accompanied by Liberation Frequency. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyle Rad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yoan Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Rad. Rad blocks a head kick by Gonzalez.
Rad throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gonzalez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jab from Rad. Gonzalez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rad lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A chopping leg kick lands by Rad. Nice uppercut lands for Rad. That snapped Gonzalez's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gonzalez closes the distance and pushes Rad back into the cage. Rad lands a body punch. Rad cracks Gonzalez with a nice body shot. Gonzalez misses with a punch on the inside.
Rad lands a body shot in the clinch.
Rad just leaning against Gonzalez, taking a breather. Gonzalez swings wildly with an uppercut but Rad uses good head movement to avoid it. Rad lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez takes a shot to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Rad.
Gonzalez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gonzalez managing to block the knees to the body from Rad.
Rad lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A battle for position here, against the cage. Rad lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gonzalez backwards. Gonzalez blocks an elbow strike from Rad.

Rad lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gonzalez or not. A right hand to the body from Rad.
Rad throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Gonzalez looks winded! Rad working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez pulls guard successfully.
Rad is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rad postures up and lands a big shot to Gonzalez's brow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gonzalez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Rad engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Gonzalez keeping moving, preventing Rad from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rad tries to free his leg and advance position but Gonzalez is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rad trying to control but Gonzalez is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kyle Rad wasn't doing enough on the ground. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rad, right into the meat.
Rad bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gonzalez's head. Rad lands a high kick to the side of Gonzalez's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Rad dives into guard, looking to finish.
Gonzalez is rocked!
It looks like Yoan Gonzalez has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rad with a nice head shot there. Gonzalez is still in real trouble! Can Rad finish him? Rad is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gonzalez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rad. Rad forces his way into half guard. Rad throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rad scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rad slips a nice elbow through Gonzalez's hands, connecting with Gonzalez's forehead. Rad looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gonzalez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gonzalez wants to get back to full guard. Rad performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rad takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Gonzalez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rad. Rad working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rad scores with a big shot! Gonzalez's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gonzalez! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Rad! Our winner, Kyle Rad, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
