Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Debtman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Honorius Trajan! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trajan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Debtman sprawls well. Debtman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trajan gets slowly back to his feet. Trajan moves into the clinch. Debtman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Debtman can't break the clinch.
Trajan tries for a takedown but Debtman manages to get underhooks.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trajan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Debtman is defending well for now. Trajan has clasped his hands together around Debtman's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Trajan wants to control for a moment but Debtman uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Debtman wants to control but Trajan is keeping busy.
Trajan wants to pass the guard but Debtman is defending well. Debtman looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Debtman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Trajan pulls his head out easily. Trajan is taking a breather. Debtman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Debtman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Debtman. Debtman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Trajan is controlling him. Trajan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Debtman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Trajan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trajan stops Debtman from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trajan controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Trajan pushing down on Debtman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Trajan content to control rather than advance. Debtman actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Honorius Trajan dominated that round. That's time! Debtman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Trajan throws a sloppy head kick and Debtman moves out of range easily. Trajan wants to clinch. Debtman swats away the attempt to clinch by Trajan.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Debtman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Debtman digs a good body shot into Trajan's ribs. Debtman slaps away a takedown attempt from Trajan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Trajan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Honorius Trajan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Trajan shoots in looking for a takedown but Debtman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trajan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Debtman stuffs the takedown attempt from Trajan. Trajan gets slowly back to his feet. Jake Debtman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Honorius Trajan. Trajan fails to land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Debtman fails with the takedown. Trajan tries to clinch up and Debtman counters with a lovely shot to the body. Debtman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Trajan closes the distance looking to clinch and Debtman counters by moving into the clinch. Trajan is trying to maintain a safe position but Debtman gets an underhook and turns Trajan into the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Debtman is trying to break the clinch but Trajan is controlling him. Trajan is looking to control Debtman's arms but Debtman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Trajan has his back to the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Honorius Trajan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Trajan tries for a takedown but Debtman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Debtman keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trajan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Debtman counters with a three punch combo that has Trajan backing up. Trajan nods at Debtman to acknowledge the strikes. Trajan tries to clinch but Debtman moves away and Debtman counters with a stiff right hand.

Trajan throws a series of punches but Debtman moves out of range. Debtman circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Debtman leaves Trajan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Trajan throws a combination that misses and Debtman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Debtman scores with a hook to the body. Trajan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Trajan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Debtman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Debtman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Debtman's face as he tries to break the clinch. Debtman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Trajan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Debtman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jake Debtman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Honorius Trajan. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Trajan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Debtman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Trajan has him pressed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Debtman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Trajan.

Honorius Trajan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Debtman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Trajan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Trajan looks to clinch and Debtman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Trajan thinking. Jake Debtman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Debtman throws a low kick, looking for Trajan's leg but Trajan calmly moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Honorius Trajan. I've got Trajan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
