The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kharinov.

and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Kharinov backing up. Kharinov nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes.

It looks like Jack Johnson has been cut.

and Kharinov counters with a big head kick but Johnson shrugs it off.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Johnson looks to land a left hand but Kharinov moved out of range nicely.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Johnson takes a swing at Kharinov's ribcage but misses.

Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kharinov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.

Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Kharinov's shoulder, as Kharinov tries to avoid the shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson catches Kharinov with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Kharinov forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
