The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coco shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shanks defends it nicely.
Shanks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coco sprawls well initially but Shanks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Shanks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shanks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Coco has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Shanks doesn't defend quickly enough and Coco has managed to lock this one up! Can Shanks escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Coco on a fantastic submission victory.
