With a record of 30 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruscle Muscle!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muscle slips a straight right by Darko.

Muscle uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Muscle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Muscle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Darko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muscle moves away.
Muscle takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Darko throws a nice looking combination but Muscle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Muscle drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Muscle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Darko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Darko is pushing Muscle's head away, looking to escape. Muscle manages to hold on to the position though.
Muscle postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Muscle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Darko, who protects the arm well.

Muscle tries to advance to mount but Darko denies him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Muscle throws a low kick but Darko avoids it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Muscle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Darko avoids it really well and circles away.

Darko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muscle moves away.
Muscle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Darko connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Muscle scrambles back to his feet.

Muscle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Darko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muscle somewhat.
Muscle doesn't manage to clinch there - Darko circles away.

Muscle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Muscle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The ground and pound from Muscle seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Muscle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Darko kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Darko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Muscle circles away quickly and effectively.
Darko throws a right and a left that Muscle avoids nicely.
Darko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Muscle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Darko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Muscle.
Darko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Muscle's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Darko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Muscle avoids the body shot from Darko.
Darko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Darko has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Muscle finds it's way round the side to connect with Darko's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Donnie Darko.
I think Muscle has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
