Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pip Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez has chosen What's the Difference as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hernandez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gonzalez is in Hernandez's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Gonzalez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hernandez's guard.
Hernandez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gonzalez defends well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gonzalez keeps Hernandez at a distance using the push kick.

Hernandez throws a wild body kick that Gonzalez sees coming a mile off.
Gonzalez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hernandez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gonzalez scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hernandez is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gonzalez can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

After winning the bout, Pip Gonzalez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
