Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Eckhoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bryce ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Eckhoff might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk by Pantera. bryce ahr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Eckhoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bryce ahr!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr moves in looking to clinch but Eckhoff pushes him off.
ahr throws an overhand right that lands on Eckhoff's shoulder, as Eckhoff tries to avoid the shot.
ahr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eckhoff looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Eckhoff is looking to reverse the position.
Eckhoff gets back to half guard.
ahr stalling.
Eckhoff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Eckhoff keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Eckhoff throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Eckhoff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
ahr remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
ahr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

ahr throws a right and a left that Eckhoff avoids nicely.
Eckhoff scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
ahr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eckhoff tries to avoid it but ahr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eckhoff to the ground. Eckhoff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Eckhoff drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
ahr sneaks out the side door and pushes Eckhoff away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Eckhoff closes the distance and clinches.
Eckhoff ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Eckhoff no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Eckhoff clinches up with ahr and pushes him back against the cage.

Eckhoff lands a couple of decent looking shots.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as ahr holds on and takes a little breather.

ahr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
ahr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eckhoff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
